The protection of personal information and the management of confidentiality incidents are social issues that Manoir du Lac Delage inc. seriously consider. This is why it diligently complies with the requirements of Law 25 and therefore adheres to the definitions linked to it. The term “confidentiality incident” is defined as any legally unauthorized access, use or communication of personal information, as well as the loss of personal information or any other breach of its protection.

In addition, the term "personal information" is defined as any information, taken alone or in combination with other available information, concerning an individual and which allows him to be identified, such as information on his financial situation, his method of life or health.

However, the name of an individual, as well as their professional contact information, namely their title, address, telephone number and professional email address, are not personal information subject to Bill 25.

Personal information must be protected regardless of the nature of its medium and whatever its form.

For legal and/or administrative needs, the archiving of documents is done in a secure location and the destruction of these same documents is under the supervision of a qualified external firm which provides the Manor with a Certification of destruction, at each of these visits. .

It is for this reason that we have put in place a procedure relating to the reception and processing of complaints concerning the processing of personal information. Any complaint regarding the protection of personal information must be sent to the person responsible for the protection of personal information at jnjoly@lacdelage.com or by telephone at 418-848-2552 ext. 321. Each complaint will be treated confidentially. with great interest.
